Welcome to the official website of Grievers and Poets

I lost my son, Kenny, in December of 2019 to fentanyl poisoning. I am forever changed by this event. "It is my mission to empower those who grieve through poetry and purpose". -Ken Slesarik-

For years, I did an assembly program for K-6 students called “Heroes and Poets.” I am delighted to say that the same high standard for excellence and fun is now available to grievers and their families. My new program is called “Grievers and Poets: When a Loved One Dies." Please contact me for available dates and costs.
